Hi, I’m Carla — a Photographer based in beautiful North Cornwall, and mum to three amazing children who keep life busy and full of perspective.

Many moons ago, I studied for a BA (Hons) degree in Commercial Photography, but my love of photographing people started when I was about 12, stealing my sister clothes and getting my friends to dress up as 'spice girls' and me taking photos of them!. Not long after, I packed a camera in my bag and travelled — documenting places, people, and everyday life as I went. That time shaped the way I see the world: wild, curious, observant, always looking for light, expression, and connection.

Before photography became my full focus, I was a jewellery designer, creating nature-inspired pieces and selling them alongside some incredibly talented makers at Cornish markets. Working with my hands taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to spot beauty in the small things — skills that now shape the way I shoot.

These days, alongside Wild Weddings and Festivals, I also work with some amazing local businesses. Cornwall is packed with creativity and independent brands, and I love helping showcase the people and passion behind them.

I’ve always been drawn to people — the way they connect, the way they laugh, the quiet in-between moments that say more than the big posed ones ever could. My style is natural, relaxed, and unobtrusive. I blend in, have a chat, put people at ease, and let things happen. No fuss — just thoughtful, detail-led photography that captures genuine moments and tells the story exactly as it felt.
